Tuning Pins

Glen: I believe it is standard practice to go up two sizes when
repinning a piano, but not to go beyond 4/0 pins.  Beyond that the
pinblock needs to be replaced, or possible restrung with epoxy swabbed
in the holes (there was a recent discussion of this technique on the
list, and should be available in the archives. Hope this is of some
