John & Susan, It's probably referring to the chapter 'The Art of Tone-Regulating' in his book "Lets' Tune Up" or an article/brochure he wrote entitled "How to Tone Regulate Newly Installed Hammers in a Grand". I have the book but not the other. Whatever it was.
