I asked the Steinway people if we could do this years ago. I suspect that they don't want to see the results that would inevitably occur. Then what would they do? It is far easier to believe that ET sounds best and to try to supress any challenge to it. To have to contend with an unknown variety of temperaments boggles many people's minds.
