In a message dated 98-03-17 23:47:37 EST, you write:

<< After doing many exams over the years I have learned as much as the
examinee.
If fact, belonging to the PTG, going to meetings, regionals, and national
conventions, I have learned so much for so little $$$ invested. I guess I
can
stand being a little "selfish." Like I have seen in your posts, I am not
afraid to pass along tips of the trade I have learned over the years. Many
good technicians did it for me.

Time and again, this has been my experience. It is what PTG is all about. I
have learned things I would never have expected to learn in an Exam situation.
Even if one does not wish to become a CTE, serving as one of the RPT's
required on the committee will benefit the volunteer at least as much as the
Examinee.

I have learned every thing I know that is worth talking about through my
membership with PTG. The very strong opinions I hold are based upon what I
have learned from fellow members.
