I would not use them at all.  I restrung about 50 or 60 pianos in my 
experience,
and I've tried using reamers and I never liked it, because you cannot get 
equal
torque with it.  I would recommend using brass gun brushes (caliber #7) with 
the
drill, don't use plastic brushes.
But if you still gonna use reamers, turn it by hand about 2-3 turns, and about
18 holes (6 unisons) at a time.  Don't get reamers to hot, because you can
damage pin block.
