Hello Avery, Ed Guerra here. I put a set of hammers on a Hardman grand about thirty years ago and I felt that it was a good piano and it had a good sound. Of course, I was pretty green at that time and so I sent the samples to Schaff. I would suggest that you call Wiley Brooks. He seems to have a good knowledge of these older pianos.
