Question: What's the difference?

I played at a church wedding just two weeks ago. The church has a 6 foot
Boston. Sitting next to it was a Roland. I went to practice on the Bposton
before the wedding rehearsal, and it was really out of tune. I brought to
the attention of the pastor. He told me I needed to bring it before the
worship committee before I drag a tuner in to tune it. I flat out told him
that if that Boston is not tuned by the date of the wedding, I will have no
choice but to play on the Roland.

I know this doesn't help you at all with your problem Kris, but when it
comes down to it, I would much rather play on the Roland, than an
out-of-tune Boston grand. Plus, when the pastor saw that I would be playing
on a little electric keyboard, rather than a shiny black grand, he got the
idea. In fact, if this church didn't have any electric keyboard, I would of
had to of brought in mine. This church gets their grand tuned once a year,
in October. So I was lucky that the wedding date fell just about a week
after the piano was tuned. Otherwise I would of had to debate with the
music committee.
