I suppose there is a place for the digital piano. My customers are constantly asking me about buying one "cause it doesn't have to be tuned" There are a myriad of reasons not to buy a digital, but one that seems to hit home with my clients is pointing out that if you paid $1000 for a decent piano in the 1960's (and had been tuned regularly) it would probably be worth close to that today. Try getting $3500 (or more) out of your digital piano in 35 years/ Dick Day Marshall MI
