Mr. Wyatt,

You had kindly emailed me prior to the KC Convention with information
regarding your action models on display at the Foundation booth,
mentioning in particular the Brown action.

I plan to reconstruct two full actions this winter, but I understand
that the dimensions changed between the early and late implementations
possibly because it was adapted from early Chickering actions in squares
and was scaled up to suit cocked-hats and then grands. I've got access
to a Chickering "Short-Stubby," from which I can take measurements as
well as from three squares, and I also have a labeled diagram (though I
am not sure how closely the dimensions were drawn); however, your
posting on the Pianotech list had a date of 1843 which surprised me (and
approximates the date of the instrument I'll be making the actions for).

Would it be possible for me to obtain measurements from your action
model?

Thanks,

Clark Panaccione
