Two years ago I was asked to do the same for the Kiwanis. With the hotel piano out of tune I played the first few bars of Rhapsody in Blue adn asked if anyone could tell. Then, using 10th's and octaves it became obvious to them how bad it was. In the meantime I had passed out a copy of David Crombie's "Piano" and spoke about "antiques" what is and what isn't. I was interrupted with a question a short way into the thing, and it turned to a Q and A for the rest of the program. Nice folks - I've been Secretary / Treasurer for about a year now, and have also gotten a fair amount of business from other members.
