S&S head scratcher

Came across one today on a 'O'...yes JimRPT, the same 'O' that sits next to a
lovely SD10, that she prefers to play( the 'O' is a monster - what a
piano...circa 1921).

..anyway - now that THAT is taken care of...

G4 - when the Damper pedal is depressed, G4 action parts will start an upward
motion - and when played, the key almost comes back, but the damper and the
action parts remain 'up'.

I thought it might be the Sos. tab, but it's not.

What I was able to do was eversoslightly pull the action towards me and re-adjust
the  Right cheek block for the optimum..but that is not 'problem solved',
although the note is now working properly.

any ideas out there?

ps - I'd like to get my paws on that 'O'....it really needs everything, but if it
ever got everything,....wow.
