Pat, I'll have to agree with Tom.  If you are gonna do it for a
customer, get a specialist.  After doing two full sets and a number of
odd ones (all for free.....in the interest of gaining experience), I can
state the following..... it's a lot of hard work....it will take twice
as long as you figure.....and I have decided not to do any more full
sets.....period.  This is based on doing the work with files and buffing
later.  No regard was given to final key height.  The last set was old
ivory, with plastic fronts.  The fronts were almost impossible to remove
cleanly (yes I researched....tried all the tricks...).  Although the
second set came out much better than the first, I would still feel
uneasy about charging for like work.
