Tom,
Methinks Epoxy will work. I would use "Steel Epoxy", Devcon or Duro or
Westsystems with a similar filler. On a bass bridge, this works well. I have
done it many times. I usually "V" out the pin line, so there is sufficient
epoxy around the pins.
