Is that the case with the open faced Petrof pin block? It was my 
understanding that there is no design difference between the Petrof III and 
the Petrof IIIM, which has the open faced pin block. (Both are 6'4".). I 
agree with Ron's assessment, that there might be more to the tuning 
instability problem than the open face pin block.
