You are referring to or asking about "Spot Finishing."  It's almost as old
as finishing but more specialized.  Webb and Ruth Phillips (they're in the
directory and PTJ) carry the Konig line of spot finishing and polyester
repair supplies.  Magic can be done in the hands of someone that knows the
trade.  These craftsman may be hard to find.  Check with piano retailers,
high end furniture stores, moving companies for the one (s) in your area,
or if you are close to South Eastern Minnesota, stop over.  We'll have
coffee and talk touch up.
