Broken string repair

Take a piece of brass or copper tubing and bend it into a question mark (?). 
You will need some way (piano wire) to prevent the tubing from collapsing. 
THread the tubing under the pressure bar, stick the wire into the hole then lift
the wire and tubing out.  Neat, effective and easy.
