I would suggest using some "steel epoxy" in the hole put the pin in, wipe excess off and wait for it to set up, (6-8 hours). Just ask client not to use it for that period and it should be fine. It is designed to bond dissimilar metals, etc. Regards, Joe Garrett, RPT, (Oregon)
