ok all, I give it a shot! went by today to put the first tuning on the temperament sampler. (Moore) Left the piano out by the exhibit hall and went on to the opening ceremony. (Most everone left me alone while tuning; full earplugs in place in speed mode.) Nossman stopped by and said howdy and chatted a little. Tom Sivak did a GREAT job at the piano for pre-ceremony music. The Windy City Warblers sang a few songs (fun) before the meeting got going. Hmmmmmm..... I was looking to see what classes I was going to take, so I have no clue what happened during most of the meeting. As role call was taken, when each state was called, we were supposed to yell something representative. Who was the guy from Wisconsin who yelled "Wisconsin is the Dairy state, so come up and smell some of our dairy air!" (say it out loud if you didn't get it.) Young Chang reception to follow, but I left to go home.... It turns out that my leg injury is a tear of the achilles tendon and staying on my feet is not comfortable. I meet the surgeon on Friday :( Tomorrow: Touchweight with David Stanwood Ron Koval _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
