Isaac, Most of your list makes just fine sense to me. However, when Restoring an "ancient instrument", the one thing that should absolutely be duplicated is the type of dampers and it's system. Dampers is the one thing that should be kept as it was, IMHO. This is one of the prime factors in attaining the "sound" of the period of the piano!
