Hey Phil. I'm no expert on this stuff, but me, myself and I were incorporated when I had my environmental consulting business. As far as I could tell it did three things for/to me. It isolated me (personally) from most lawsuits, it increased paperwork 1,000-fold (I hate administrative paperwork - maybe if just seemed that bad), and cost me a bunch of money. That's all I know.
