Yikes...jumpy, to me, means the pins doesn't seem to move then bang it moves too much.   That is a too tight situation.  
I wouldn't be applying CA glue to a new Yamaha in any case but certainly not for a too tight tuning pin.  I'd call Yamaha for their advice.
