No need to use a jack to fix a grand leg. I use a "Piano Horse" which is =
simply a folding tripod made of 2X4s. A bolt through the top of the =
three boards makes for a stable support. Sit next to the leg you want to =
lift and raise the piano with your knees. If necessary, put a book under =
your feet to get more height. You or the customer can slide the support =
under the piano. A dolly on-end or a plywood box made for the purpose =
will also work. You can install caster cups this way, too.
