Hide Glue used in piano construction

Hi Joe!

As I said, what they call here "bone glue" might in fact be hide glue. They
didn;t say it's actually made from bones. It's more of a generic term. What
does the one you have look like? Brownish transparent pellets?
I intend to use it to glue a soundboard and ribs in a very old piano, and to
glue veneer to the case.
