Charles,

Even though I agree with what you said, it shouldn't be necessary to do that
just to stay on the list and not be inundated with "stuff"! Maybe I'm just
"living in the past", so to speak, but I don't remember us ever having all
this many problems in the early years of the list. Why are we now? Why
are there so many people on the list posting stuff that offends and alienates
so many people?

I have a very high tolerance for this kind of off-topic stuff because I know
how to use the delete button but why should it be necessary?????? And
even I'm getting tired of it! I like to "attempt" a little one-liner type 
of joke
every now and then but I've never posted the kind of things that have been
on the list in the last year or so! Why are we having it now? I wish I knew
the answer!
