Longterm future of piano business

I've examined MY local market closely, as I'm trying
to build a reputable and profitable business for the
next 20+ years. Note that most of my customers are
not concert pianists, but working class family types.

#1 customer type...Grandma played the piano, I don't,
but I want my children to play well and have an
instrument which is in tune and will function well.

#2 customer type...My piano teacher insists that I
have a "real" piano, not a digital keyboard. What can
you recommend that I can afford?

#3 customer type...Our church is having a special
program, we need the piano tuned soon.

#4 customer type...Our school district is having Solo
and Ensemble contest, we have 14 pianos to tune.

#5 customer type...I have my Grandma's piano, what can
be done to make it play, look good, sound good, etc.

#6 customer type...I play well and while you're here
tuning, can you fix the buzz?

#7 customer type...I'm a concert pianist and liked the
way you tuned my friend's Wurlitzer spinet, can you
tune for all my upcoming concerts (Ha!, in my wildest
dreams...)

My point is, in MY opinion, there is a future in the
piano business. Find the need in your neighborhood
and provide honest, quality, reliable, and friendly
work.

Even if my level of expertise isn't nearly so advanced
as Richard or David, there still is a market for my
work and I'm thinking there's one for each one of us.
