Hi Folks DD was in town last nite with her largely french comp group. Another very gracious jazz pianist, and holy christmas what a singer. Tonite I'm honored to tune for one of the biggest musical events of the year here. A double piano concert with a Swedish pianist, Bengt Fosberg and Norwegian Håvard Gimse joined by another Swede, mezzosoprano Anne Sofie Von Otter. I think this is a new record for me ... grin four S&S D's in the course of three days, these last two tuned together. And tommorrow its Leif Ove Andsnes. Gotta admit, I am having a gas at this years festival. Just so everyone knows... I use an ETD to help tune the two grands together. Tunelab 97 and the perfect 12ths tuning I've been working with for about a year now. Both pianists for this evening were also very gracious and trusting..... put their trust right into my hands.
