Yep, that's the sucker.
consider any other way than removal of the rail first.

     The material that was used (not felt) has disintegrated so when the jack 
trips and kicks back it hits wood instead of felt, making a clicking sound.  
I see no other option than to remove the rail and put new felt on.

10-4.  I am hoping that a drop-screw regulator or perhaps the regulator that 
fits the eye-hooks on letoff buttons might work.  If not, I will have to use 
long-nose pliers (carefully) I suppose.  And stock up on Ben-Gay for the wrist 
joints.  Thanks muchly for the feedback.  I appreciate it.
