Help with "bad" tuning...need help

My high school chemistry teachers words still ring in my ears: "units,
units, units - where are your units!" Just as important to use proper
units - just ask NASA about that.....

I was really just suggesting that if a string is 25 cents flat from target,
then state it as such - or use beats if you are an aural tuner. 25% doesn't
tell one much. Or I guess you could state 25% of a half-step - that would
work.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the "pitch raise now" thing. Most folks I know of
draw the line somewhere between two and five cents flat - anything more flat
will require a pitch raise.
