I adjusted the letoff pretty close to the string, but then all these clicks started happening. The aftertouch I'd removed by regulating the letoff that caused the jacks to not move far enough away from the butts, so that upon release, they slapped back on the Corfam. Ugly sound, and it took me awhile to figure it out. I don't know if that's your problem, but it's worth a looksee.
