Well, Keith, that is VERY interesting.  But what about the string breakage?
Do you think this pianist is really going for the *touch* of the Steinway
grand, or the *sound* of a Steinway grand?  I might worry a bit about
increasing blow distance if he's popping strings.  On the other hand, maybe
if he's getting the touch he wants, he'll back off?  I dunno.  But it would
be interesting to know what happens.
