Hello Kent,
I have seen and worked on several Style 2's and the ones I have seen
have had the tuning pins vertically oriented as John H. suggests. However,
I do believe there is another kind with tilted pins as suggested in another
post.
The very first thing I would do, before any other techniques is
employed, is to place all three feet (or only two if that is all that is
available), upon the pedals, push downward as intensely as one could
without damaging anything and try simultaneously to extract the action.
The downward sagging of the keybed with enough pressure may let the action
pass.
Regards, Robin Hufford
