Thanks

    regards
    Dale

Hi Dale,
I came to Portland in Fall 2003 to continue my study of audiology at
Portland State University. There is a professor here who specializes in industrial
hearing safety and that is the closest I could come to learning how to study
a piano technician's hearing situation. Most audiologists are concerned only
with helping patients, who already have hearing problems, get fitted with
hearing aids and getting on a rehabilitation program, whose focus is in hearing
one's grandchildren. I am interested in learning how to prevent hearing
loss.
One thing led to another and we ended up moving here. Took us the greater
part of this year; in fact we will be in CA again for the first two weeks of
December, servicing clients there, and dealing with a number of our pianos
which are still down there.
Attached is a brief write-up about the earplugs we use. If you want further
information, let me know.
Diane
