Gooood point. Yes they buzz when sounding. Some of the dampers did buzz on return, so managed to fix those. I'm supposing that maybe they buzzed before the coke ? ! ? Possible that these are baaaaaad strings. Must replace one bad one to ascertain for sure. Thanks.
