Setting Rates

Good comment. And if any of my remarks could, or were, interpreted as
disparaging to a tech new to the business, my apologies.

One thing I will say, is that if someone want to do piano technology as a
profession, at a minimum, they should take the correspondence course offered
by the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology, or of course one of many
residential college programs (North Bennett School, Western Ontario, etc.).
And yes, studying as an apprentice with a qualified tech is also good, but
gosh, that is so hard to judge by the one just entering the profession.
