/Well, now we've got a skilled aural tuner who now uses a ETD and=
his ear, i.e. he has experience both, and we have you who tune=
by ear only. (I believe?) Don't you think you should be=
investigating the potential of ETDs in improving you tuning? =
Maybe you think it can't be improved?

David.

If you believe I have no experience with ETD's then I have to ask how
closely you've been reading
this list and for how long. I am on record as one of the most adamant
supporters of ETD usage, and
am responsible for <<discovering>> the P-12th tuning on Tunelab 97,
which Bernhard claims to be the
origional discoverer of in a far more theoretical treatise on the
subject some 15 or so years back. I have Dr.
Jim Colemans personal congratuations on the idea, publicized on this
list. There are a hand full of folks around
the globe who have persued the positive useage of ETDs more then
myself. That enthusiasm does not require of
me however, to be blind to viable concerns that present themselves.

Cheers
RicB
