Couldn't you remove those two dead hammers and move all hammers above = those two steps lower ? If the shanks are alike, put the two removed = shanks at the trebble end, and find two trebble spare hammers to put on. = Those are easy to find as there are always some in every new hammer = set, and in the high trebble you won't notice so quickly that the = hammers are from another sheep's wool. If the shanks are not alike = (trebble ones thinner) you'll have to unglue two hammers, in order to = put thin shanks in the trebble end. But why did the former tech overneedle those two hammers ? Is there a = structural issue causing voicing problems there ? Best regards. St=E9phane Collin. I have a customer who had her long time technician overdo some = needling voicing on D42 and D#43. These two notes are considerably = "deader" than the surrounding notes. She does not want to use him = anymore. ------=_NextPart_001_000D_01C55571.F255ECB0 An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
