  I've had a similar experience with a smaller type delta clone &  tthough I 
hated to take the time  a tune up such as this is very satisfying  when 
quarter sawing  really rare  tight grain maple in to 4 to 6  mm caps. When there 
right there a thing of beauty & you think your a wizard  cause your cutting so 
well. and then.............   you know.

While I often feel cheated of time when I lose a day doing something like  
yesterday's bandsaw maintenance day, it was a different case yesterday. Its  
most pleasing  to have the saw performing better than I could have  imagined.


Now its back to work to finish the resawing I started over the  weekend.
