---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hello Guy, "The rule of 10" was a tactic used by the Japanese in the late 50s, 60s and 70s to penetrate and eliminate innate competition in the American market. This is called "dumping" and is illegal. When you have eliminated your competition then you raise your price. We now have two (2) American piano manufactures. "The rule of 10" was simply to sell (or dump) your product at 10% less that the competition at the wholesale level.
