State Farm offered me $5,000. I am still waiting to go to court. Do not use, or let anyone you love use, State Farm, without some serious investigation regarding their willingness to pay claims. If you think I'm kidding, just ask a lawyer. Any lawyer. Thump, My personal experience with State Farm has been good. They've paid when and what they've owed, and have lowered my rates consistently since I've had their coverage. Sorry your experience has been less than stellar.
