I'm working on an old Geo Steck grand piano which has these strange sheet metal half-pipes installed underneath. The installation is obviously not original equipment, but was done neatly with custom formed sheet metal installed with screws. Does anyone want to venture a guess as to what the "installer" had in mind? Dave Smith SW FL P.S.
