On most Asian pianos pedal Pivot Pin is made out of brass, knurled part gets
worn out,pin rotates and sqeaks.

Solution: 1-2 years ago there was a technical tip I submitted to the Journal
,full description is there.

Drill and tap hole trough the top of the pedal and 2 sets screws {6/32"]
will secure the pin.Do it to all 3 pedals. It doesn't take too long
,providing you have all the drills and taps in one plastic box as a Kit for
that operation. Brass drills and taps easely. This method helps to install
pedals in Verticals without removing the Bottom Board. Hope it helps.. Isaac
