Strange scale question,

Hi list,

I am tearing down a Gerhard Heintzman upright grand ( yeah, I know) piano and have run into scaling like I've not seen before and am looking for some input.

The top three unisons are strung with .027 (size 11?) wire. The entire scale measures thus -

  .027- 11 - 3 unisons
  .030- 12.5 - 6
  .032 - 13.5 - 6
  .034 - 14.5 - 8
  .036 - 15.5 - 8
  .037 - 16 - 8
  .039 - 17 - 6
  .041 - 18 - 6
  .043 - 19 - 4
  .045 - 20 - 4
for a total of 63 plain string unisons.

Should I use # 11 string or what would you suggest? I have restrung 200 plus pianos including several Heintzmans and have nor found this before.
