James - I do not understand what you mean by "recalibrate to minimize runout". Sounds like some sort of basic drill press tuning that I obviously don't have a clue about. I do know what runout is, but I don't know anything about runout calibration. Please educate me!

  2.  If you're using a floor drill press, maybe recalibrate to minimize runout.  If benchtop, definitely recalibrate to get as close to zero runout as possible.  Arrrgh.
