It would probably flatten the conductor, who, after having been TARRED and feathered for being so perverse as to stand in front of a charging piano, would then have to be, ah, PITCH razed. But, no problem.......he would have been wearing the helmet that the slow bicyclist SHOULD have worn at the time of the original experiement. 

Just my 7.5 cents worth, adjusted for seasonal humdity changes, of course.

     You would want to shove the piano directly at the conductor at 3.4 mph.  
  Would that sufficiently flatten the conductor?
