Haydn/Mozart

  David Love is correct...I was in error.  Apparently Mozart had composed this little harpsichord piece for a party at which Haydn was also in attendance.  Mozart wagered Haydn that he could not sight-read the piece.  Haydn proceeded, but stopped shortly, encountering a place where both hands were at opposite ends of the keyboard, and a note in the middle was to be played simultaneously.  Mozart then exchanged places with Haydn and played the chord...the middle note with his nose.  Haydn is said to have exclaimed, "with a nose like yours, it's easier!"
