Dave,
I've been working 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, for most of my life. I always get an uneasy feeling when I do less. I guess that's just me and the fact that I love what I do. I do a lot of "playing" in my shop. Yes, I do have a Social Life, albeit somewhat limited, since I'm married.<G> Some would say that I'm a Workaholic, and maybe I am, but I enjoy it. As long as my family and friends do not suffer because of it, I'll remain O.K. with it. 'Sides, it took God 6 days to "make" the heavens and earth. Would we then call him a "workaholic" as well?<G> Idle hands and all that....<G> Who was it that said the 5 day, 8 hours per, was "appropriate"???? IMO, someone who either hated his job or was essentially lazy. (Flack Suit firmly zipped!<G>) For those who are still raising their families and feel the need to have a "short" work week, I'm O.K. with it, just as long as they don't make a bunch of mamby-pamby, coddled, slackers out of them.<G> (Flack Helmet & Gloves velcroed on to the aforementioned Suit!<G> Also, Steel toed, flame proof Booties and Goggles!)
'Sides, if'n you've seen me at any of the PTG functions, you'd know that I'm mostly having fun!<G>
As for "charging ...for the weekend work", most of my clients know I'm not a cheap date.<G>
