The pitch raise speech (Ok, ladies may read it now)

Not having seen the pictures, and if even a size 1 is too large  - is it
possible that a harpsichord lever would work??

I'm talking about the square pins we see on the pictures you sent us... 
It looks like the ones I have on my piano, and none of the tips which 
came (#1 #2 #3) with my hale extension tuning hammer matches. 
they are all too large. 
the only tuning lever I have, which works is tagged #0. 
I have recently found a #1 tip which nearly fits, but it's far from perfect.

If you are talking about the oblong pins, I've never come across a decent
tip that fits properly. Most of those pins are prior to 1880. As for the
normal pins, my medium star tip seems to do the job most of the time.

What kind of tip do you use on those pins ?
I have the same kind of piano, and the pins are so narrow that I had quite a
hard time finding a tip that would fit on it...

This is the sort of [Censored] I have to put up with nearly every day!
This piano will not raise above A425Hz
