There should be a bolt through the handle, which would serve as both alignment pin and clamp. Lather it up with a release agent - anything from nose grease to paste wax, and press on. It won't take anything like real clamp pressure to make the repair, just snug it up with a decent alignment to minimize post-cure woodwork, and some assurance that the bolt won't be permanently bonded to the handle.
