Have to thank Robin for the first day line... it was really his... I
just needed a few days to stumble upon the word Parson to replace
"Customer" in his original suggestion. Todays line is a slight
variation on a suggestion by Herre Hoffsommer : "worn out backchecks"
from a posting on the 12th. 8 days to go :)

Merry Christmas everyone ! We are winding down over here.... finishing
up last bit loose ends before taking a solid 2 weeks free from all cares
ands wares !

Cheers

On the 17th day of December a piano came to me

   With seventeen barren backchecks
   Sixteen pins a-pommelled
   Fifteen butts a-bounding
   Fourteen wobbly whippens
   Thirteen coins a-clinking,
   Twelve tubby bass strings,
   Eleven jacks a-jumping,
   Ten grungy grommets,
   Nine brittle bridles,
   Eight damaged dampers,
   Seven fractured flanges,
   Six errant elbows,
   Five broken strings !
   Four coats of paint,
   Three warped posts,
   Two pedals bent,
From a Parson who wants it fixed free !

Cheers
RicB
