Very nice and informative posting Ron. Thanks once again for taking the 
time to share all this with us in the fashion you do. Love the underside 
of the lid btw... and agree with the sentiment you express explaining 
why you go to the trouble.  This is perhaps a luxury a smaller operation 
can afford that a big manufacturer can not ?  This modern competition 
mass produced world has its costs to be sure.

On the side.... saw a long documentary comparing Chinese and Western 
(particularly American) economic development with a keen focus on the 
probable future of who has what amount of economic (and hence 
geo-political) power.  Awesome picture they painted. Its not just 95 % 
of the worlds piano production thats going on in China these days..... 
Things are about to change me thinks. Big time. But thats another story.
